You can download the Gate Sentry app from the App Store or Google Play Store. Alternatively, you can access the portal via portal.gatesentry.com to manage your account.
You will receive an email from support@gatesentry.com with your access code and a link to the login page. Click the link in the email to be redirected to the account creation page. If you didn’t receive an access code, click here and select ‘Request a Code.’
The access code is not a temporary password. To create a new account, click "Create New Account," enter your email address, preferred password, and the access code. If you didn’t receive an access code, click here and select ‘Request a Code.’
If no Gate Sentry account is associated with your email, contact your property manager to request an account. Once set up, you'll receive the access code to log in.

To add a new user, go to the profile page on the Gate Sentry app or web portal. Tap the ‘New Host’ button at the bottom right of the host list, enter their details, and tap ‘Save.’
A guest is a family member, friend, or close acquaintance who frequently visits you.
A guest should be listed as Permanent if they have unlimited access (e.g., family). Temporary guests can be added for up to 30 days, such as for a weekend visit.
a. Tap the guest field at the bottom of the screen.
b. Tap the "Add" button.
c. Enter the guest's name.
d. Specify if the guest is Permanent, Temporary, or Banned. For Temporary guests, include the end date.
e. Click "Save."

A vendor is a service provider such as a plumber, electrician, or dog walker.
A vendor should be Permanent if they require regular access, like a dog walker. Temporary vendors can be added for up to 30 days, like a plumber.
a. Tap the vendor field at the bottom of the screen.
b. Tap the "Add" button.
c. Enter the vendor’s company name.
d. Specify if the vendor is Permanent or Temporary. For Temporary vendors, include the end date.
e. Click "Save."

Web Portal: Click on the guest or vendor’s name, then click "Delete" to remove them.
Mobile App: Tap the guest or vendor’s name and select "Delete."
Gate Sentry manages visitor admissions but doesn’t control the guards' decisions. Contact your security team or property manager for further investigation.
Gate Sentry provides visitor access management but does not oversee gate staff. If visitors aren't being logged, contact your HOA or the security company.
